What is 28SRA?
The 28th Scale Racing Association (28SRA) is the global home of 1/28th scale RC racing.
Founded by longtime hobbyists and event organizers, the 28SRA was built to solve a real problem: a thriving worldwide community running the same cars under a dozen different rulebooks. We standardize the classes, technical specs, and competition formats that already exist — so a car built in North Carolina can show up to a race in Vegas, Tokyo, or Madrid and just plug in.
We coordinate Grand Prix events, support local tracks, and welcome racers at every level — from first-time builders to veteran competitors. The compact scale makes the racing accessible anywhere there's space for a track. The unified ruleset makes it accessible anywhere in the world.
